For me Photography has been almost a lifetime hobby and I have explored many aspects of picture taking and processing over the years. In more recent times I have like most people moved toward digital imaging and hope to demonstrate my efforts here. I use all Nikon Digital SLR cameras, currently I am using Nikon D200 pro-am and D2x professional camera bodies with a selection of auto focus VR Nikon lens ranging from 18mm up to 400mm which of course with these digital SLR cameras there is a 1.5 focal length ratio which equates to a range of 27mm to 600mm, in addition I also have a 1.4 times converter which can be applied to any of my lens lifting the effective top end of my range to a massive 840mm focal length. I do also still have my Nikon 801s SLR film camera which I use primarily for taking 35mm slide film. In addition to camera equipment I have a good selection of other equipment including Tripods, Nikon dedicated flash, filters, etc., added to which I now have my own small well equipped STUDIO (click for info) . Of course now being in the digital era, central to my processing is my PC with a variety of software including Adobe Photoshop CS5 software, with Epson printer and scanner comprising the main hardware package. As well as photography I have had a keen interest in computing since the late 70's so today these two interests have become as one.

I took early retirement a little over five years ago having worked all my life in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry, resulting in my now being able to devote much more of my time now to my Photography.

Prior to my retirement as Product Manager I quite often produced product images for use in PR and company promotional material. A couple of typical such images illustrated below.

I am now utilising the skills developed in my long time hobby on a more commercial basis now by offering a comprehensive photographic service in the South Notts. area by taking on various photographic and digital imaging assignments as indicated on my "PROJECTS" page.

Since establishing my home based STUDIO I have now tended to mainly concentrate on my studio work ranging from simple passport pictures to portraiture, children, family groups, product pictures and model portfolios.
