RUSHCLIFFE PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY - A local camera club that is based in West Bridgford, Nottingham that I have been a member of for the past few years. A very friendly club with a varied programme and especially catering for digital photography.

NORTH EAST MIDLANDS PHOTOGRAPHIC FEDERATION - is an organisation to which most established camera clubs and societies in the East Midlands are members and is therefore a good source of information about clubs in the area.

PAGB - Photographic Association of Great Britain is a national body to which most regional groups such as NEMPF are affiliated and is therefore a useful starting point to local camera clubs in different regions of the UK.

The Royal Photographic Society- Membership of RPS may well be worth considering for the more advanced and keen photographer. Distinctions are possible enabling status of LRPS, ARPS or FRPS to be achieved.

Many photographers like myself have their own web sites to showcase their work, these sites are interesting to view a wide variety of styles and work which can be informative and inspirational. The following lists just a few sites that I can recommend as being worthy of a visit.

Terry Draper - Another friend and member of Rushcliffe Photographic Society, Terry again a very competent photographer producing some stunning land and townscape images. Like myself Terry is also a keen portrait and glamour photographer.

Beatrice Flowers - An interesting model that I have had a shoot with that has her own website, well worth a visit.

The Digital Site - Where camera meets computer to create a new dimension in photography. This site is dedicated to digital photography and digital art. Film users are welcome as scanned images become digital! Lots of information and a great place to get help. The galleries section is also well worth a look.
